Move-in ready homes are priced accordingly and go fast. What remains needs work. Often in the most beautiful spots. For the same money you can buy such a house and make it spectacular, in a place that already was.
This project is for people who don't need a move-in ready home. Who take the time to work something out down to the last detail and have it built. And who have the budget available, without depending on a mortgage, since the build is funded with their own means.
Who starts a new life here and wants a home that's right from day one.
A place in the sun to come back to, furnished exactly the way you want it.
Who'd rather wait for the right home than rush for a finished one, and values worth over convenience.
Recognise yourself in this? Then read on. If not, this honestly isn't your project.
You buy a sharply priced home in its current condition, directly from the seller. I guide the purchase, the plan, and the coordination with the contractor who carries out the renovation. The principle: your total costs, purchase plus renovation plus guidance, stay below the market value of a comparable home that's already finished. Otherwise you'd be better off buying a finished home straight away.
Depending on how much you want to do yourself, and how much you want to hand off.
You buy the home yourself. I guide the purchase, the technical assessment and the elaboration of the plan, and coordinate this with the contractor carrying out the renovation. You help decide on the final feel, colours and materials. The goal: a home that's right, without you having to arrange everything yourself.
We agree in advance how far the execution team goes and where you take over yourself. Think demolition, new layout, structural work, installations and other shell adjustments. The finishing, furnishing and further choices you then arrange yourself, or with your own parties.
You buy the home with a worked-out plan as a starting point. You receive a survey of the existing situation, drawings and specifications. The choice of materials, contractor, execution and guidance you then arrange yourself.
Cómpeta sits at the foot of the Sierra Almijara, with the Mediterranean in sight. Barely half an hour from the coast and around fifty kilometres from Málaga. It suddenly appears before you, entirely in white, with the Sierras Tejeda, Almijara and Alhama as a backdrop.
Narrow streets, long views, and the scent of a true mountain village. Known for its wine, raisins, almonds and tropical fruit. And for a warmth as if you'd always lived here. The name means crossroads and meeting place. People of thirty-eight nationalities live here. Whoever comes, stays.
| From the home to | Distance | Travel time |

| Cómpeta (village) | 2 km | 5 min |
| Torrox | 15 km | 30 min |
| Torre del Mar | 25 km | 40 min |

| Málaga Airport (AGP) | 69 km | 65 min |
The valley still in mist, the first coffee outside, the air still cool. No traffic, no rush, just the birds. This isn't a holiday. This is how you live here.
This will become one of the most charming country homes in the Axarquía. Two kilometres from Cómpeta, easily accessible, with sweeping views over the mountains and the valley.
The house follows the slope. On the entrance level you live: a bright kitchen-diner with plenty of natural light and a spacious living room with a pellet stove. The terrace doors open onto the terrace, with sweeping views over the valley and the pool one level below.
One level down you sleep, in two spacious bedrooms each with their own en-suite bathroom and their own terrace facing the valley. Views from every room, and the calm of two worlds under one roof.
Outside there are generous terraces and a spacious pool, made for sunbathing, eating outdoors and enjoying the climate. The 3,000 m² plot offers plenty of room for fruit trees and for whatever else you want to add. A separate storage building holds tools and materials.
The home has its own water well, its own water storage tank, solar panels and a septic tank.
You don't always find the right home on Idealista or Fotocasa. Often it's found outside those, through local estate agents who know what's happening in their region. That's why I work together with various agents. The same applies to the execution parties. In Málaga city or on the western Costa del Sol you work with different parties than in the Axarquía. The director stays the same. The team around them, I choose per project.
One fixed director. The team around them is chosen per property.

Christian is the fixed link in this concept. He assesses the home structurally, looks at potential and risks, translates the possibilities into a concrete plan, and safeguards the coherence between purchase, costs, execution and end result. With over twenty years of experience in construction and real estate, he looks beyond the viewing: at what lies behind it technically, financially and practically.

Martin has lived and worked in the Axarquía, northeast of Málaga, since 2015. He knows the white villages, the hidden valleys, and his way around the local community. Personal attention, honest guidance and deep knowledge of the region. From first orientation to handover, he handles the purchase, so you can choose with confidence.

Sergio was born and raised in Cómpeta and has worked his whole career in and around the village. He knows the land, the houses, and the people who do the work. With his team he carries out the renovation, from structural work to finishing, with the quality and pace a project like this demands. Local roots you can't build yourself from outside.
The amounts below relate to option A: the home fully guided from purchase to completion. For option B, it's agreed separately how far the shell work goes and where the finishing is picked up by the client.
More home for the same money, or actually a bit less.
A home that's fully up to date.
You help choose the final colours and materials. A home to your taste.
Fully guided: I coordinate the purchase, the plan and the execution by the contractor.
Shell prepared: major work carried out, finishing and furnishing done by the client.
Home with a plan: survey, drawings and specifications as a starting point.
The complete cost breakdown, who does what, and what is and isn't included, I discuss with you personally, by phone or WhatsApp, possibly followed by a video call. No obligation, no commitment.
Thank you. I'll call or message you personally within two working days to explain the plan, possibly followed by a video call or additional information.
